A baseball game is happening
And Junior's first up to bat
One of our favorite things to do
Was play a game of three-eyed cat
Rounding out the player roster
Was the pitcher, fastball Kathleen
Little sister, Lena, was the catcher
And we three made up the team
Junior could always score the runs
When Lena and I dropped the ball
Most of the time, we dodged it
Trying not to get hit, we'd fall
Poor Junior sure was embarrassed
Having to play ball with his sisters
Sometimes, friends would play with him
Instead of girls who always got blisters
A neighborhood boy named Jimmy
Had baseball equipment first-rate
The boys loved using real bats and mitts
Until Jimmy gave them all the gate
Jimmy was a spoiled rotten rich kid
Who got peeved when he didn't get his way
When he made an out, he left the game
Took his equipment and went away
The boys assessed their situation
Going home calling Jimmy a rat
And Junior ended up playing with his sisters
In another game of three-eyed cat
