My Humble Prayer

Master of my heart and soul
Fill my heart with strength
Let me walk with You each day
No matter what the length



Keep me on the path of faith
And let me never stray
Help me to see the good in all
The ones who come my way



Take away my fears, dear Lord
Make me brave and humble, too
Help me to witness every day
And keep my eyes on You



For each heartache that I weather
Be with me through my grief
Take my hand and hold it tight
Maintain my strong belief



Help me to look forward, Lord
And leave the past behind
For when I dwell on what I've lost
True peace I cannot find



Keep hope alive within me
And always my faith renew 
And take me up to Heaven
When my time on Earth is through
