Judy Knight

I was born in a small town in southern Mississippi. I am the fourth in a family of eight; we lived in the country on a farm. Lived there most of my life. Got married moved to Jackson, Mississippi and now I live at Braxton, Mississippi about 30 miles south of Jackson out in the country.

Today I am a wife, mother and grandmother. I have two grown sons, one grown daughter, one grandson, two granddaughters, and one son that went to his Heavenly Home on September 7, 1975, at the age of 15. He was my first born. Without God in my life and a loving family I don't know where I would be today, but with God all things are possible. God is first and then family and I thank God for giving me a loving family.

I am a Christian and enjoy working in our church and teaching small children's Sunday school class. I do our bulletins and a Newsletter every week, sing in the choir and work with our youth Pastor on Sunday night and Wednesday night with our youth class. I became a Christian at the age of ten, I'm not perfect by any means, and we are all sinners saved by GRACE!!!!!!!!!! From our Heavenly Father above;

I enjoy gardening, family and friends and watching the birds in my back yard. I am involved in community service as well as other things. Started writing poetry early this year and was inspired by a friend who writes, Jane Ward Smith, whom I met on the internet and love dearly like a sister. I used some of her poems in our church Newsletter that I write with her permission. I enjoy writing but I'm no expert by any means. I just enjoy writing about our Heavenly Father, family and friends.

I have a heart for the elderly as well as children. I was a caregiver for about ten years for my Nanny and sister-in-law before they went Home to be with our Lord, I thank God every day for what I am. And for the many "Blessings" He has giving me for without Him I would be nothing. My desire is to follow God's will for my life and pray that something I do or say will lead some lost soul to the saving grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
