The people pooled their talents and through praise they kept the faith. They started with a basement, concrete blocks that they had laid They worked hard for Jesus and He knew what they were worth, Those warm hearted people there at Rose Chapel Church. On faith they started building; from the start they held their own. I believe on faith alone they put up every stone. They didn't ask for nothing; just put Jesus up there first. Those warm hearted people there at Rose Chapel Church. Yes, the Lord is in the building, His touch is there and new, He's there beside the pulpit and He's there in every pew. You can feel Him in this chapel, like an eagle on a perch, You can feel Him in the people there at Rose Chapel Church. When I walk through the doors, I feel the spirit in this place. And you can see their love for Jesus, cause it's written on their face. Their love for God may get so strong; it'll make these new walls burst, But, they'll just build it back again, this Rose Chapel Church. I get up before you and I sing the songs I wrote, But, there's something I must tell you, that all of you can quote. Since I found my Jesus and He gave me my new birth I'm glad I found the people here at Rose Chapel Church. Yes, the Lord is in the building; His touch is there and new, He's there beside the pulpit and He's there in every pew. You can feel Him in this chapel, like an eagle on a perch, You can feel Him in the people there at Rose Chapel Church. I thank God I found the people there at Rose Chapel Church. ©Jerry Soyka Used With Permission All Rights Reserved By Author Mail
