When Night Is Fallen

When night has fallen, on my soul and Only darkness surrounds me, I close my eyes and just let go. To where the roses find me, For I am in my garden, all aglow As light shines in from heaven above, Just where my roses grow. Oh how I love my gardens, Given me with love, To smell and see the roses, Brought from Angels with God's love. How I long to stay here, But know it is in vain, For night has come and I must go into my house again. I'll sleep tonight with windows open, And every now and then, God's Angels bring the scent of roses In the wind, Tomorrow is a new day, I pray I'll see it through. To come back to my garden, I spend some time with you, For out there waiting for me Are so many lovely things. Each and everyone bestowed by God To show the love he brings, So I must say good night now To my Angels standing guard For God has said it's time to go From out here in my yard. Thank you Father for your love, And the roses that you send me. ©Helen Hummel Used With Permission All Rights Reserved By Author Website Mail
